About Anovea Authentication
In the course of an average day, you are frequently required
to provide identifying information in order to access services or products.
This process of "proving" who you are is called authentication.
For example, you may be required to give:
- A personal information number (PIN) to access an ATM,
- Another PIN for a home or business voice-mail system,
- A password to log onto your computer or corporate
information system at work,
- Another password or personal information for phone access
to a bank account,
- Yet another password for access to internet service
providers, as well as other passwords to access certain websites.
- A credit-card number, telephone number or driver's license
number to cash a check, or initiate other transactions,
- A social security number on the phone to your health care
or other service provider.
This haphazard system of PINs, typed passwords and personal
information is insecure,
intrusive, and inconvenient to use.
Anovea develops biometric authentication systems based the
measurement of physical or behavioral characteristics which are unique
to each individual. These systems are secure,
nonintrusive, and convenient to use.
