The user experience for anyone using the authentication system is vital for your business. Anovea has had the opportunity to work with many companies using voice authentication, and we are ready to help you design your application.
All users of the authentication system must be enrolled before their identity can be subsequently verified. Enrollment of a user creates a voiceprint describing the unique features of the user's voice. Anovea's voice authentication is passphrase-based, i.e. the user chooses a passphrase which will serve as a key in subsequent verifications. Passphrases should be short so they can be easily memorized and consistently repeated. Examples are "Anovea, San Francisco", or "My voice is my key".
After successful enrollment, the user can be verified anytime. A dialog, similar to the above, prompts the user for the passphrase, and the recording is matched against the stored voiceprint. The verification can take place though a different communication channel than used for enrollment. For example, a user may enroll online using a desktop microphone and subsequently verify by using a cellphone.
